ArsTechnica.com is a blog style website dedicated to the art of technology. It was an independent site up until May 2008 when it was bought out by mega publisher Conde Nast.
The site has a lot of good tech related stories and multiple articles worth reading every week. The layout is fairly clean and navigable.
